WALK INTO WATER (Friends of Live Earth)
Have all segments of the community of Martha's Vineyard gather together to celebrate water and to raise water consciousness. This will be accomplished by organizing a high-profile "WALK INTO WATER" event from OWEN PARK Beach located in VINEYARD HAVEN into the ocean, as well as disseminating LIVE EARTH water information relative to the purpose and focus of this international event.
After the WALK INTO WATER - we will gather for a water celebration of sharing music and water poetry.
The WALK INTO WATER and WATER POETRY AND MUSIC will be videotaped and sent to Live Earth for dissemination throughout their international network.

| Directions: | Take Main Street (a one-way street) a short distance from the downtown are of Vineyard Haven until you see Owen Park on your right with a gazebo. Just to the left of the park is a wide access driveway that goes down a hill to a parking area near Owen Park Beach and the town dock. |
