Friends of Live Earth: Dow's 6K Walk at the Wetlands - Antioch, CA (Friends of Live Earth)
The community is invited to a FREE 6K Walk at the award-winning Dow Wetlands on Sunday, April 18 from Noon-5pm. Why 6K? That's the average distance many women and children must walk to get water in third world countries. Enjoy a scenic walk while learning about water issues and the solutions to many of our global water crises. Local water companies and non-profits will be on hand to educate. Snacks and water will be provided. Live music! Free t-shirts to the first 500.

Directions: From Hwy 4, exit at Loveridge Rd turning North. At traffic light, turn right onto Pittsburg-Antioch Hwy. Entrance to Wetlands will be about 1/2 mile up on the left (just after Delta Diablo Sanitation District).
