Friends of Live Earth: Run/Walk for Water Mount Desert Island (Friends of Live Earth)
Circle Eagle Lake, on foot. (6 miles) This pristine lake is a source of clean drinking water and located in world-famous Acadia National Park. This event is a non-competitive walk or run on the world-famous, traffic free, gravel carriage roads. This event is meant to raise awareness of the world-wide need for clean water. Attendees are invited to cover as few or many miles as they wish and are encouraged to wear something blue for clean water.
